Eco fabric by Patternistas

The new edition of Reclaim Magazine is out now! In Simion’s column this month he chats with the very talented design duo Patternistas about their beautiful fabric designs which are printed on sustainable eco fabric from Panaz, made from recycled plastic bottles!

Below is an excerpt of the article, to read more please pick up issue 58 at your local newsagents which you can search for here or download a digital copy from Pocket Mags.

When I discovered Panaz’s ecoTWILL that is produced from recycled plastic bottles, it was a no-brainer to use their fabric.
Now, you might be thinking that any fabric made from recycled plastic might be hard or scratchy, but I can assure you that it is not.
What it is though is an incredibly hard-wearing fabric and it holds the colours beautifully, so not only it is a safe and smart choice, it is also environmentally friendly, requiring less energy, Co2 and water to produce.”
