GUY MCKINLEY CUSHIONS.jpg

‘THE FOX AND HOUND’ BY

GUY MCKINLEY

These brilliant cushion designs were created with Guy Mckinley after a chat Simion had with him, asking if he had anything that may tie in with his projects here at Reloved Works.

He said he had a few sketches of foxes in various poses in armchairs. Perfect.

DIVINE SAVAGES.jpg

The painted hot pink legs set off this print perfectly (Gypsy the french bulldog thinks so too!)

STUDIO FLOCK ERCOL SOFA.jpg

STUDIO FLOCK ERCOL JUBILEE

Just look at this beauty. Simion loved working on this one. The contrast of the colourful geometric fabric by Rachel Parker for Flock makes the beautiful wood of the simple, classic Ercol Jubilee frame really sing.

BON MAISON.jpg

BON MAISON RAINBOW CHAIRS

These Ercol stunners were saved from landfill by the wonderful Sarah Moore for the BBC One TV show, Money For Nothing, and were brought to the Reloved Works studio for a colourful makeover.

Although you wouldn’t believe it now, these chairs had been left outside in a garden for quite some time, so were in need of some serious TLC!

With a little help from beautiful fabric created by Bon Maison, as if by magic this project was completed just in time for Manchester Pride in 2019, which made for the perfect way to celebrate these joyous chairs.

Charlotte Beevor.jpg

THE RECYCLED CHAIR PROJECT

Introducing the Recycled Chair Project, a collaboration with award-winning Print Designer and Stylist, Charlotte Beevor.

Charlotte and Simion both share a passion for upcycling and sustainability, so this chair made for the perfect team up.

Charlotte's stunning fabric design was printed by Fashion Formula on a beautiful Eco Upholstery fabric made from recycled Polyester. This wonderful print contrasts brilliantly with the simplicity of the vintage Ercol Jubilee frame, and the recycled fabric makes for a fantastic upcycling story.
